Crying Time with Hubby
Tuesday, July 1, 2008
Hubby and I just had a share of our crying time today. It's because of me, we just sat on the table for our dinner before he left for work this afternoon and while having dinner I told him about the news article I read over the internet yesterday which talked about this chinese lady who recued adopted 100 stray dogs aside from the hundreds of dogs that she already had animal shelter. Most of those 100 stray dogs came from the areas where the massive earthquake devastated China's Sichuan province in May 12th . So, I was telling hubby that some of those dogs had crippled legs due to the quake and the chinese lady and her workers just put a cart made of PVC pipes to support the hips of the crippled dogs. I told hubby that I was crying while I was reading that news article and also told him that I felt so sorry for those animals. Then, hubby told me that I have a great love for animals which made me start to cry. I looked at hubby and saw him crying too and we both cried. Every now and then hubby and I have this crying time together when we tell sad stories. Hubby will start to shed tears too when he sees me crying.

A closer look at the moon
Monday, June 16, 2008
We had a good weather yesterday even though it's so warm and hot which I really liked. Hubby went outside into the front yard and invited me to spend sometime watching at the stars since the sky was so clear. The moon was visible also on the very clear dark sky. Hubby remembered to take our telescope outside so he could take a closer look of the sky. We looked at the moon through the telescope, it was so beautiful. I told hubby maybe we could take a photo using our digital camera and take a shot through the telescope and so we did and it worked. Take a look at what the moon looked liked when we took the photos.
This photo of the moon was taken with just the digital camera.

Photos of the Grand Mesa
Tuesday, June 3, 2008
The Grand Mesa is a large geologic formation in western Colorado in the United States. The largest mesa in the world, it has an area of about 500 square miles (1300 km²) and stretches for about 40 miles (65 km) east of Grand Junction between the Colorado River and the Gunnison River, its tributary to the south. Geologically the mesa is the result of a hard volcanic basalt layer on its top. This volcanic layer, created during the birth of the modern Rocky Mountains approximately 30 million years ago, suppressed erosion compared to the surrounding sedimentary rock layers, which suffered rapid downcutting from the Colorado and the Gunnison.

Shining Rocky Mountains
Tuesday, May 20, 2008
I took this picture by the deck in our backyard. This was taken in the afternoon, when the sun is starting to set. See, how it shone into the rocky mountains? Very pretty, the rocky mountains look like they are shining. I wish I had a better camera, I could have zoomed it and took a closer shot of the glowing mountains.
